In the heart of our rural community - only 15 minutes from Raglan - is Waitetuna School where children thrive through diverse learning experiences, high adult to student ratio and our warm, personal and inclusive culture.
CARE OUTSIDE SCHOOL HOURS
After school care
Every day after school, Waitetuna children now have the option to stay at School while parents finish their day at work.
Breakfast club
Every morning there is a Breakfast Club starting at 7am. This is privately run.
SMALL CLASSES & CARING TEACHERS
Every child is seen
There are three classrooms and 20 children in each room on average. With three experienced teachers and two teacher aides every child gets the personal attention they deserve to thrive socially, culturally, physically and of course academically. We also provide a very strong environmental education programme.

Every child gets a wide range of opportunities with a supportive and personalized approach to learning and excellent support from the community. The school provides high quality education in a caring and supportive environment. Digital fluency is integrated into our school curriculum, to prepare students as 21st Century learners. The school provides each child from year 4-8 with a chrome book.

School Van
Waitetuna School has its own school van. This means children can be transported easily to sports events, surfing lessons, ski trips, camps, arts excursions, science road shows or anything related to education outside the classroom.
