Kia ora Waitetuna whanau,
Wow - what a spectacular trip we had yesterday. This trip gave us a wonderful opportunity to appreciate some impressive sculpture and be able to appreciate sculpture artworks from artists all around the world. We were so lucky with the weather. Thanks to Whaea Ali for making this day happen. I am certainly looking forward to the Raglan Arts trail over the long weekend also. The amazing range of artists in the Raglan community is fantastic. I hope you get to take the time to enjoy your whanau and some down time.
Kapa Haka Tutor - We had our first session with Merehia on Monday. It was great to see the students really persevering with their kapa haka skill learning.
I watched with interest Nigel Latta's latest series on parenting and the helpful, practical three simple parenting tips he reinforced during the episodes. It is always helpful to remind ourselves of these whether our children are two or seventeen. Here are the three simple ABC rules
Always remain calm
All behaviour is communication
Always have a plan
