Principal’s Update
Kia ora Waitetuna Whaanau, we couldn't be more proud of our Kapa Haka group following their stunning performance. Their dedication and passion truly shone through, and the energy they brought to the stage was capti-vating. Our students represented our school with mana and pride.
A sincere and heartfelt thank you must go to Kimo and Robyn for the tre-mendous amount of mahi (work) they put in. Their commitment, along with the tireless support of all the dedicated staff, was instrumental in making this performance such a remarkable success. A shout out to Lou and Jessy as well for the extra special additions they made for the costumes. The count-less hours of practice and preparation certainly paid off. Wow!
Attendance—Term 4—after the terrible illnesses that affected us last term we are hoping that we can put that behind us and our attendance can improve and lift in Term 4. The Ministry continue to expect us to review and track this so please ensure your children are at school when they are well. Days off for birthdays are discouraged. We really appreciate your support in this.
We participated in the National Shake down on Thursday morning, practising so we know what to do in an earthquake. Ag Day and Group Day—these events both start at 10am. Our School Ag Day will be finished around midday and the Group Day will be finished around 1pm. Caged Pets need to be collected at morning tea time please. Remember your baking for Wednesday and Friday please.
Ngaa mihi nui Amanda and staff
