Principal’s Update

Kia ora Waitetuna Whaanau, it has been a very busy week for staff as we navigate yet another version of the new curriculum. We have events happening each week so please take the time to see what is happening through my newsletter and the classroom teacher’s notices and emails.

School Athletics—Athletics day organisation - start at 11.30am, short lunch from 12.45ish to1.15pm and then we will carry on until finished. We start with the sprint races. You are welcome to take your children home. We are not sure of finish time but need to allow time for pack up also. High Jump does take the extra time. Students aged 8 years and above who qualify for the Inter School Athletics will receive a notice for this.

Tabloid Sports– I heard lots of positives with our year 1 and 2s tackling the tabloids today. Tumeke giving the range of activities a go!

Quiz Night update—our quiz night is less than one month away so if you can contribute with donations please

Richard—the board has received Richard’s letter of resignation. Do you know someone that could drive our school bus to and from Raglan? See you next Friday for assembly at 2.15pm

Have a great weekend, Amanda and staff
