Principal's Update

Kia ora Waitetuna Whaanau, What a Week! This week has been full of energy, excitement, and achievements! Dance Disco Delight—what a fun evening we had last night with our annual disco event. Last night's school disco was an absolute hit! It was wonderful to see everyone having fun and showing off some amazing dance moves. The enthusiasm on the dance floor was contagious, and it was a joy to see the smiles and laughter throughout the evening.

Cricket Action—this week and the following two weeks we have a cricket specialist working with the students from year 3-8. Important small ball skills developing in these sessions. Thanks to Whaea Ali for organising this.

Blessing of our new building—Tiaki came to school on Monday to officially bless our new teaching and learning space. Thank you for making the time for this. And to Sarah—The Mat Lady for the new rug in our new building.

Transition visits—the Year 3 and Year 5 students had their first visit to their new rooms for next year on Thursday morning. There were some wonderful new connections made.

Inter-School Athletics—I also wanted to make another special mention and congratulations to all our students who participated in the inter-school athletics competition. Your hard work, determination, and sportsmanship shone through, making us incredibly proud. Whether sprinting, jumping, everyone gave it their all—well done! There were some excellent results from our great little school.

Thank you to everyone who made these events possible. Let's keep the momentum going as we head into another exciting week!

A friendly reminder about our final assembly on Wed 18th December at 6pm at school. We will have a sausage sizzle on and ask that families bring a plate of food to contribute to shared kai.

Bowls competition practise—the Senior students were able to practice their bowls skills on Monday with the Raglan Bowling Club, ready to retain their Year 7 and 8 cup win from the inaugural event last year.
