Newsletter - Week 8, Term 4 2023

Kia ora Waitetuna Whaanau, we had lots of fun at our school disco last night. Thanks to the PTA for their support and Ali and the Seniors for the great decorations.

Yesterday morning the students moving to the Middle or Senior Room next year had their first transition visit. It was great to visit and see lots of positive new connections being made, and setting the scene for a great 2024. These students will also visit their new

classrooms a couple of times next week. Lawns bowls—Richard and I enjoyed a great day of lawn bowls with our three teams.

Dental clinic—I have been trying to find out when the Mobile dental clinic will be returning to our school. Unfortunately they cannot give us a date for this before the end of the year. They will be in Raglan from the 13th Dec, so recommend ringing ahead to make an appointment for your child’s teeth check up.

Final assembly reminder—We have a whole school final assembly which is held this year on Wed 13th Dec. This starts at 6pm and we enjoy a shared dinner together after the assembly. Please put this date in your diary and make a note to bring a plate of food. All

Whaanau welcome. And we still require a few more river stones. If you have any you

could bring to school we would be most grateful.

Ngaa mihi Amanda
