Principal’s Update
Kia ora Waitetuna Whaanau,
I am delighted to be able to take this time to celebrate our school production. I am sure you will agree it was a resounding success! The dedication and talent of our students, teachers, staff and volunteers shone brightly on stage, creating an unforgettable experience for all. Our students delivered stunning performances, showcasing their acting, singing, and dancing talents. The hard work they put into rehearsals truly paid off. To top it off, the community turned out in full support, with a packed hall. Thank you! The locally written script showcased our wonderful local environment. As with every aspect of our Living Curriculum the teachers nurtured your children and were able to celebrate the talents and achievements of our young people.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the school production. Special thanks to our teachers, support staff, parents, volunteers, and sponsors for their unwavering support and dedication.
And to finish the term we had a wonderful coming together for Matariki. What a week. I wish all families and our great team of staff a restful and well-deserved break.
Reports home go home today—reports will be in your child’s bag if you haven’t been handed it. Along with Seesaw reporting, our written report shares where your child is sitting against the New Zealand Curriculum expectations. The blue panel is the expected level. It is important to understand that every child makes progess at different rates and at different times. Teachers will certainly keep in contact if there are any specific concerns around your child’s learning. There will be time to discuss learning at the learning conferences in week 3 next term.
It is now time for a much needed rest and we look forward to term 3. See you back on the 22nd July.
Thank you for all of your support. Ngaa mihi Amanda and staff

This is where your child’s teacher, yourself and your child come together to celebrate, review the learning so far this year and then set goals for the rest of the year. Bookings will be online. The online booking system will be emailed out in Week 1 of Term 3. Students are an integral part of these sessions and do preparation to share with you.
