Principal’s Update
Kia ora Waitetuna Whaanua,
what a wonderful week celebrating small rural schools and our community coming together. Everyone’s efforts and contributions made for an excellent Inter School Cross Country event. Thanks for everyone who contributed with loaning items, making food items, working in the food tent and helping with anything and everything.
I would also like to acknowledge our teachers and support staff for all the extra jobs that happen to ensure we had a great event yesterday and a great little school. Thanks Jess for the great photos too!
Earlier in the week kumara fritters were enjoyed by the whole school. It was great to be able to enjoy kumara from our own school gardens.
I will be away with the Seniors at camp for the first part of next week and then I will be at a Waikato Principals Association event and Professional Learning at the University of Waikato. I look forward to seeing you all on my return.
Happy Fathers Day Dads. Thanks for everything you do!
I hope you are spoiled rotten! Enjoy your weekend.
Ngaa mihi Amanda and staff.
