Principal’s Update
Kia ora Waitetuna Whaanau, thank you for your support of the True Colours event last Friday. It was great to be able to support this organisation and Briah’s assignment.
Well done to Senna for the fantastic effort and achievement with her speech at the Year 7 and 8 Waikato full Primary School event on Tuesday.
Constable Tom’s visit this week shared very important messages to our students. We thank Tom for this and the pre and post learning the teachers did.
It was excellent having Ruben the Road Safety Bear at school this week to reinforce road safety.
I had an excellent trip to Te Whanganui a Tara for the Principals conference. This was the first time I have been able to attend this conference and it didn’t disappoint, with the range of speakers talking about Future focussed leadership, the role of AI, supporting our students through utilising their experiences, being confident in themselves and so much more learning. It was a great opportunity and great timing as the board and I meet next week to begin our strategic planning journey for 2026 and beyond.
Have a wonderful weekend before we return for our last week of term 3. Ngaa mihi Amanda and staff.
