The great outcomes of PTA efforts

The PTA has been up and running since 2016. Take a look at what we have achieved over this time and how we raise the money.

Sports court upgrade (2019)

The sports court had lines that were faded or missing and a lot of loose gravel making it hard for kids to play basketball and netball on. In 2019 the PTA’s focus was on raising funds to go towards the resurfacing of the courts. With money raised by the PTA and donations from Waikato District Council and Meridian Energy Trust, the school were able to resurface courts in early 2019. Courts look great and are being used both by the school and the local community.

Swimming pool upgrade completed (2018)

In 2017 the PTA raised over $10,000 to refurbished the school pool, this has enabled our kids to continue to enjoy the pool through swimming lessons and has been well enjoyed by the locals and very much needed in the summer heat, thank you to all of you for making it happen.

Senior School Ski Camps

An important part of what the PTA does is supporting new experiences for our students. To help our senior room get the most out of their ski camp the PTA donated $1000 towards the camp. All the kids had really good experiences from those for whom this was their first opportunity to try skiing to those who enjoy skiing regularly.

Admin block rebuild (2016/2017)

Over 2016 /2017 the PTA raised $14,000 to go towards the rebuild of the school’s admin block, helping provide better facilities for teachers and students.
