Principal's Update
Kia ora Waitetuna Whaanau, I trust you had a lovely Easter break. Even though this is a short week I wanted to ensure a newsletter came out to celebrate learning. Not only was there a great day camp for the Junior Room last Thursday but there has been a lot squeezed into a short week. Kura Awa for the Middle Room, House of Science volcanoes experiments to see what makes the best volcanoes in the Senior Room. This is just a snap-shot.
This newsletter celebrates some of the wonderful aspects of our Living Curriculum Maahanga. The Junior Room camp to Kaniwhaniwha (thank you Whaea Robyn) and our tremendous team who helped bring Garden to Table to life in our school. Last week the team made hummus and cut up the vegetables to eat the hummus. This meant the students could practise their knife skills at the end of last week too. Our Seniors went to the softball tournament today. Well done to the team.
Reminder—Senior Playground phase 1 replacement is to be started on April 15th so please ensure children are not in this area of the school.
